Clément Rodzielski edition: Cinema Lekythos

Clément Rodzielski has conceived for WE DO NOT WORK ALONE a packing tape edition, Cinema Lekythos. This packing tape represents the endless image drawn on an oil flask, dating from 550-530 BC, conserved at the Metropolitan Museum of Art of New York, and attributed to the painter Amasis.

The pattern interpreted by Clément Rodzielski is running along the packing tape. But here it is not just about a packing tape, rather a movie roll that still has to be cut, edited.

This art edition of a packing tape is clément Rodzielski’s second collaboration with WE DO NOT WORK ALONE. He was born in Albi ( France ) in 1979, lives and work in New York. He is represented by gallery Chantal Crousel in Paris.

Clément Rodzielski a conçu pour WE DO NOT WORK ALONE une edition de scotch, Cinema Lekythos. Ce scotch représente l’image sans fin dessinée autour d’un flacon d’huile datant de 550-530 av.J.-C., que l’on attribue au peintre Amasis, conservé au Metropolitan Museum of Art de New York.

Le motif interprété par Clément Rodzielski court ici tout le long d’un ruban adhésif. Ce n’est pourtant pas seulement d’un ruban adhésif dont il s’agit, mais aussi de la bobine d’un film qu’il reste à couper/monter.

Cette édition de scotch de Clément Rodzielski né en 1979 à Albi (France) vivant et travaillant à New York, est sa deuxième collaboration avec WE DO NOT WORK ALONE.

Il est représenté à Paris par la galerie Chantal Crousel.
