Edition based on an original piece by the American sculptor JB Blunk (1926 – 2022) from 1975. This soy sauce pitcher was selected by Mariah Nielson, JB Blunk’s daughter & director of JB Blunk Estate, as a representative piece of her father’s work, illustrating JB Blunk’s relationship to craftsmanship and his absolute commitment to making everyday objects designed for his own use.
Limited edition of 150 copies, created by ceramicist Sophie Irwin.
Edition d’après une pièce originale de 1975 du sculpteur américain JB Blunk (1926 – 2022), choisie par Mariah Nielson, la fille de JB Blunk et directrice du JB Blunk Estate, comme une pièce représentative du travail de son père, illustrant sa relation à l’artisanat et son implication absolue dans la fabrication d’objets du quotidien qu’il concevait pour son propre usage.
L’édition du Blunk Pitcher est limitée à 150 exemplaires et réalisée par la céramiste Sophie Irwin.
